Description
A quick and easy appetizer made by tossing frozen cheese ravioli with olive oil and seasonings, then air frying until golden and crispy. Served with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
Ingredients
Scale
- 16–20 oz frozen cheese ravioli
- 2–3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2–3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- Optional: Red pepper flakes
- Optional: Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Do not thaw the frozen ravioli. Place them in a large bowl.
- Drizzle olive oil over the ravioli and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Toss the ravioli until every piece is lightly coated and looks glossy.
- Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
- Arrange the ravioli in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
- Cook at 390°F for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket or turning the ravioli halfway through to ensure even crisping.
- Remove when golden brown and puffy. Let cool for 1-2 minutes before serving.
- Warm the marinara sauce separately and serve with the hot ravioli for dipping.
Notes
Do not thaw the ravioli before cooking, as this causes them to stick together and become mushy. Ensure the air fryer basket is preheated for best results. If using fresh ravioli, reduce cook time to 6-8 minutes. Leftovers reheat best in the air fryer at 375°F for 3-4 minutes.
