Blended Salted Caramel Coffee Frappe

  • Author: Maya
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Description

A thick, creamy, and perfectly balanced salted caramel coffee frappe made with just five ingredients. This quick 5-minute drink offers cafe-quality flavor at home, combining cold brew, milk, ice, and rich caramel sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240ml) cold brew coffee
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) whole milk
  • 1 cup (100g) ice cubes
  • 12 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons salted caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • Chocolate syrup (for garnish)
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Chill a serving glass in the freezer for 10 minutes (optional but recommended).
  2. Ensure the coffee is cold; if using hot coffee, let it cool and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Add cold coffee, whole milk, ice cubes, and granulated sugar to a high-speed blender.
  4. Blend on high for 30-60 seconds until the mixture is smooth, frothy, and thick like a milkshake.
  5. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of salted caramel sauce into the bottom of the chilled glass.
  6. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce down the inside walls of the glass and swirl to coat.
  7. Pour the blended coffee mixture into the prepared glass.
  8. Top with a generous swirl of whipped cream.
  9. Drizzle with chocolate syrup in a zig-zag pattern.
  10. Sprinkle a tiny pinch of flaky sea salt on top.
  11. Serve immediately with a thick straw.

Notes

Use cold brew or chilled strong coffee to prevent the ice from melting too quickly. Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of your caramel sauce. For a dairy-free version, use oat or almond milk and vegan caramel/whipped cream. The drink is best served immediately as it melts quickly.
