Blended Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Frappe

  • Author: Maya
  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Description

A thick, creamy, and delicious 5-minute protein shake that tastes like a milkshake but fuels your body with protein and healthy fats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 scoop (30g) chocolate protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon (16g) natural creamy peanut butter
  • 1 medium frozen banana (about 100g)
  • 1 cup (240ml) milk (almond, oat, or dairy)
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice (if banana is not frozen)

Instructions

  1. Prep frozen bananas by peeling ripe bananas, breaking into chunks, and freezing for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  2. Pour milk into the blender first to help the blades spin freely.
  3. Add frozen banana chunks, peanut butter, protein powder, cocoa powder, and ice to the blender.
  4. Blend on low speed, gradually increasing to high, for 30-60 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness by adding honey/maple syrup or more ice/banana as needed.
  6. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

For best texture, use ripe bananas that are spotted and soft. If using a low-powered blender, blend liquid and protein first, then add frozen fruit. Do not store the blended shake for long periods as it separates; instead, prep ingredients the night before.
